INNOVATION

SETTING THE BAR.  Throughout the past two decades we have pushed the boundaries, embraced new technology and set the standard in digital experiences for the Volkswagen consumer and the Volkswagen sales force. We created the first car configurator for mobile, putting 90 million cars in your pocket. We have given Volkswagen retailers a series of content rich showroom apps to help them sell; launched an elegant needs-based configurator – 'My Perfect Volkswagen', and all the while maintaining and enhancing the back-bone of the Volkswagen digital experience, volkswagen.co.uk.

ACTIVATION.  Over 15 million annual visits make the volkswagen.co.uk site the most visited of any car manufacturer in the UK, and in Q1 2016 alone, over 1.65 million car configurations were completed. Our digital showroom apps are being used on 3,300 ipads throughout the UK dealership network and there's been a 13.5% increase in showroom customer satisfaction scores when the sales teams use the app.
